Green Triangle Timber Industry Awards

SFM, as property manager for Limestone Plantations and Border Plantations, are proud to be silver sponsors of the inaugural Green Triangle Timber Industry Awards (GTTIA) to be held in Mount Gambier on October 26th, 2018. The GTTIA will recognise significant contributions made to industry by individuals and companies alike.

SFM Regional Manager, Mike Lawson, states, “Together with New Forests, we at SFM believe it’s fitting that Limestone Plantations and Border Plantations are able to support this exceptional regional event, as it recognises the leadership in our industry that helps make the Green Triangle an important forestry hub that continues to lead in excellence. We would also like to congratulate the GTTIA committee for planning such an auspicious event that is a celebration of the fantastic contribution the forest industry has made, and continues to make, to the broader region.”

SFM would also like to congratulate nominees Courtney Pink, SFM’s Regional Forester, and Casterton Plantation Contractors (CPC), owned and run by Paul O’Brien, on their nominations for awards. Courtney has been nominated for the category of Individual - Outstanding Contribution to the Timber Industry (female), while CPC has been nominated for the category of Company - Silviculture Excellence. SFM wish them well.
